Trippling Down.

So the more I've been driving the 97 crunchy parts van the more I realized it was worth preserving.

That and i was bit bummed it most likely did not have the rear LSD I was hoping to install on the short wheel base 5 speed offroad project (main van)

Well I found another van in running but un roadworthy condition, terminal rust in critical areas.

engine is healthy and the auto transmission works... But it had all the bits to possibly make the other couple 97s better.

the 94 Royal Exceed appears to be capable of 2 wheel peel (high LSD probability) and was fitted with an elusive factory karaoke kit.

had manky rear carpet that could be cleaned but more importantly both middle row captains chairs in very good condition.

So what I have discovered working on my XL185 and CT110 projects is the correct number for a project vehicle is 3...

A keeper

A beater

A donor

I spent the following day using up a whole box of laundry powder, hot water buckets, foot shuffling (dance moves) and pressure washing the manky carpet to remove what appeared to be some spilled and cured oil like residue.

Turned out alright for 30 year old carpet.
