Qlink question
I've been kicking around the idea of going with some lighter wheels on the Viva (lifanoid) and while i'm at it, maybe 17" supermoto style . I see in specs that Qlink has 110/70-17 front and 130/70-17 rear . Two questions really . What are the wheel sizes 3.00 and 3.50 ? 2. anyone ever try or have any ideas about them fiting a Lifanoid bike ?

example 110-70-17
110 /25.4=4.33 inches tire width 70 *4.33 = 3.031 inches sidewall height 3.031 *2 + 17 = 23.062 outside tire diameter 3.00-17 tire the apect ratio or middle # is a constant 100. 3.*100=3.0 sidewall height 3. *2+17 = 23.00 inches outside diameter ******* these numbers are for tire diameter so they may not help. 3.00 and 3.5 should be the rim width that will effect how square the tire blows up or how much it balloons out. hope this is helpful.

well the Qlink wheels would not be a direct fit ,even if the sprocket location was correct ,because i have the disc brake lifanoid . i have seen suppliers ,with the disc brake version Qlink ,not for the USA . my main concern would be sprocket and rotor distance from the center of the hub . I'm not really ready to be the guinea pig ,if i can't confirm measurements before hand. it is likely that the TMEC 200 wheels would work fine ,knowing that it uses a lifanoid engine and not the Suzuki based engine . If i end up doing a swap ,I'd like it to be a swap thats easy for any lifanoid rider to do at low cost . one company tells me they use a 2.50 wide front with the 110/70-17 tire and i think that would not be correct according to tire manufactures specs of min 3.00 for that size .

This sounds like a fun project, Racer!
Of course, the safest bet is to lace 17-inch rims to your current hubs. Using this method, you can be positive your brake rotors and sprockets will align perfectly. Relacing your hubs also allows you to choose the desired size, and construction of your rims. Spud
