Ride to Dartmoor, UK
A very brief report as sadly I took very few photos..
Me and my dad took a ride up to Dartmoor in Devon, which is luckily only about 20-25 miles from where I live ![]() Here is a couple of pictures I took on my ancient Iphone. My Fathers BMW 1150RT and my Lexmoto LSM125 ![]() My little beastie! ![]() Dad in his new Hein Gericke jacket trying to figure out how to use his Iphone.. ![]() A nice little stream we found in the middle of nowhere ![]() In the two weeks I've had the bike I've put over 250miles on it already...despite being away on holiday for a week, I cant get enough of it! I'm not particularly interested in speed so it's perfect for exploring on ![]() Very happy with the bike and can't really think of any dislikes apart from the mirrors but they can easily be changed. Considering changing the rear sprocket but not too fussed just yet ![]() Will get some more photos of rides in the near future! |

Sharp looking bike, and very nice scenery!
I haven't heard of Lexmoto, but it looks like a Qingqi bike, very similar to my Qlink XF200.

I'm amazed by the scenery behind your Dad. That stone bridge is likely older than anything in Canada, and the ancient Romans probably crossed that creek. The history in your area intrigues me.

I agree with Weld! Love the history, and the green! That's a color I have to generally travel to see where I live.
I get a laugh of seeing those two very different bikes side by side. If dad leaves you on the pavement challenge him to some tight technical singletrack..... 8) You are blessed to have a dad you can do things with. ![]()

Thanks for posting the beautiful photos! Your Lexmoto is one of the best looking Chinese motorcycles I have yet seen.
![]() You were very wise to purchase a chinabike which employs a copy of a currently manufactured, Yamaha engine. ![]() Spud ![]()

Yeah Dartmoor is great for history, many ancient stone settlements which are now just stone circles but still fascinating. Like Dapp said in one of his posts about Dartmoor, some of the bridges that are still used are three times as old as the States themselves! So I consider myself very lucky to have it all on my doorstep
![]() Dad certainly leaves me on the roads thats for sure, but He didn't half complain about the lumps and bumps on the windy single tracks, not to mention the fords as well ha. Will try and get some more photos soon for you guys! |

We don't yet know what rear wheel you have.
![]() ![]() Of course, we should also verify you have a YB125 countershaft sprocket. ![]() ![]() Do you want to gain more torque, or more speed? Spud ![]()
