Wifeys "pink" Harley
Had a few enquiries about this.. Sportster 1200XL Wife had a friend with cancer and wanted me to do her bike pink. So I lowered it, added solo seat, stretch fat tank, Custom front + rear fender, cats eye back light, crash bars.. Custom number plate. Pink ribbon stud in fender.. I learned on a TY50p (50cc) She learned on a 1200 Harley lol.. Hats off to her.

Nice job! It looks like the perfect height for her.
What's the story with the Yamaha in the first pic?

I would also avoid riding a pink motorcycle. However, it's a beautiful color for a lady.

It cost me 345.00 UK Pounds in 1976 Free coat too. So, credit to Wifey for tackling a 1200cc for her first bike. I had her on car parks and dead end roads for weeks.. She was very nervous.. I was too.. Scared the crap out of me, but she can handle it and loves riding. Also added a cam to the clutch as it was a struggle for her to pull in. And thanks to Spud for the kind words.. I think I unleashed a beast.. She wants a softail now!

Sweet little Yamaha; Suzuki also used trials tires on dual sport bikes back then. Were you born in the UK?
Do you have a close-up of the ribbon stud in the fender?

I love both of 'em! Thanks for the pics.
The pink ribbon stud is a nice touch on your wife's bike.

Look great! You've done a great job with her Sporty and your other collection is awesome! As I stated in another thread, it's good to see somene else here has a "better half" that rides her own. I'd much rather ride with Mrs 2LZ than any of my male friends. It also makes for the perfect family vacation! Separate vehicles! ;-)

I'm working on getting Mrs. Weldangrind on a bike, but I'm concerned that she'll like my TW200 too much. I might not get it back.
