New guy form Nor cal w/ 1968 Honda Cub 50 now 90cc
Hi All,
33 years since having a bike('75 Honda MT 250 Elsinore). Just got a 1968 Honda 50 Cub that had a China engine installed by PO, and after fuel system cleaning got it running Need to learn lots like how to tune the Sheng Wey carb so it will not need full choke to all the time, headlight change for 12v, etc. I've build many cars from the ground up but need to do some learning on bike stuff from folks here. We be posting detailed questions with pics in the tech forums next. Thanks. |

Beatrice cycle -Dr ATV has a bunch of options for your lighting etc on their website ,you might have to spend a little time but you will find what you are looking for no problem .There are tons of Chinese mikuni clone carbs for very little cash ,like $20.00 ,you would probably be better off swapping the carb for one of them so you can easily jet the bike correctly

Welcome! Interesting bike! There are many members with Grom Like Vehicles (I refer to the mini class of bikes as GLV's) who swap out the stock 125cc engine for 190cc crate engines. There should be many 125cc engines available if you feel the 90cc is inadequate.
