Stonemen for Temp X ??
Has anyone tried to install a stonemen exhaust system on the Templar X?
The one I am talking about is for a CRF150F CRF230F 2003-2013. It's under $100. Basic fit? Mods? Maybe this fits the CG clones, but not the 249cc 172FMM engine.

Definitely interesting. I see another ad there where they say it also fits a Hawk 250 and TBR7. Pretty sure the doesn't translate to fitting a Templar X but you got me wondering how close one might be too. I haven't cut my converter out yet. Wouldn't bother me much to be lazy and just swap pipes instead.

I am thinking this would fit my CG250 ZS167-FMM in the Storm nicely. But I already did a cat delete on that bike and drilled the exhaust. It won't make more than 15 hp without head work lol
I am sure there is a header for the 172-FMM. Must be. Quote:

Doesn't that stoneman pipe have a cat? If not what's the bulge for?

No,it's not a cat. It's a "power bulge" - aka an expansion chamber. An attempt to alter the resonant frequency in the exhaust pulses to try and improve scavenging for better power at a certain point in the RPM range.

No it's not my weld, I was able to have it done at work, I separated using a tubing cutter, if I could do it again I would use an angle grinder with a .045 cutoff wheel
