Let me guess ... registration issues?
This bike is 49 state DOT/EPA certified--there should be no problems registering them in 49 states (Californians need not apply )

I'm late to this thread but no registration issues at all with the enforcer. I'm in Nebraska. My MSO said motorcycle. That's a benefit of getting the enforcer...

That's an idea. The lady showed me the list and said it's on their website.

I think the seller should have told me to that he'd put the order on hold until I contact my DMV to find out the if the bike could be registered, but rather than do that he lies and says there should be no problems. I think that's a scumbag move on their part.

I can't believe how much time I'm wasting on a $1400 enduro or dirt bike or whatever the hell theyre calling it.

Do you have a hawk? If so, what does the title say? Off road use, motorcycle? Just wondering.

Thanks for the suggestion
Bob

My title has motorcycle, the same thing the MCO had on it.

The bike came today. Had some slight damage to the seat and side panel. The driver called it in and gave me a claim number... another bunch of crap to deal with.

The bike is nice for the money. I'm still putting it together, but some things I'd like to have assembly instructions for. Does anyone know where to find that? it's for the hawk 250.

Once I get the title I'm going to try to register the bike. If I can't I'll just flip it. I'm sure in can easily get my money back and then some.

Anyway, I'm looking for the assembly manual, so if someone could point me it the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'm not sure it exists, other than the YouTube videos. I looked before and didn't find any paper instructions. What do you need help with?

here you go....from the technical/performance section, a Hawk assembly video, direct from China!! There's lots of other helpful stuff in that same thread.

They assemble it in 12 minutes, but it may take you longer unless you can get a pair of those special gloves!!

Someone else just took delivery of a bike and it also had damage...sheesh!

Haha... if anything I get a sh*t load of laughs on this site. Did you ever see motocheeze videos on YouTube... funny as hell.

Thanks for the link. I'm pretty much finished putting it together with the exception of the fender, headlight, side panels, etc. what the hell is in that little jug with the tube in the parts box?

Do they put oil in these bikes? I haven't checked to see if there was any in there yet.

I've been thinking... you know what china needs to do to get people to be more excepting of their products?

Attention to detail! They need to pay attention to the smsall things like assebly instructions, more washers to fill sloppy gaps... take that brake pedal for instance. You can pull that thing in and out about a half an inch... lol

Ok I'm done for tonight
Thanks !

The bike comes with so called oil in it but don't run it for a long period on it. warm it up then drain it out and replace with oil designed for wet clutch. You can pick some up at Wally world. That jug is battery acid. Put it in the battery and let set for at least an hour to activate it before putting it on a slow charge.

Oh okay, thanks!

Which rubber pieces are used on the front fender and are large flat washer used on the the fender?

It Looks like somebody on the assembly line just a handful of bolts and washers in a zip lock bag.

Thanks

Yes, a large flat washer and a rubber washer should be used with the bolts for the front fender. I can't really help identify the rubber washer, they just seemed to fit the best. Mine were the same size as the metal washer, and we actually on the bolt already.

And yes, there is no care taken with the hardware that goes in that bag. Mine included 2 dozen metal grommets that I had no idea what to do with. They are still sitting on my work bench.
