THANK YOU so much Darth! Went there on our way home from my moms tonight. Worked great, but I went ahead and ordered a 11 tooth front sprocket..prior to finding this out.

This will get me by until it arrives state side. Apparently they(WGS) is waiting for a shipment from the motherland(China). How fitting, chinese sprocket for china atv. BUT at that price it should be American made with the quality to show for at that price, ya know?

Cool glad I could help. Was a cheap fix and easy to get.

The 11t front sprocket will give you a little more torque so not time wasted. Pretty easy and quick to install. I agree on the price. Given the shaft spine and bolt pattern there isn't much choice in the matter. It's a specialty made to fit part so you're gonna pay more. Just wish the threads on it were better.

Don't be surprised if you have to chase it with a tap... Maybe this next lot is better. It is made of steel though so should last a long time.

Well the front sprocket is in the mail. So maybe early next week? Darth did you still retain the use of the factory hardware?

I'm not sure as its been some time now. If I remember right I ground down there keeper clip and reused the bolts.

Best bet would be to use whatever looks in better shape and grade.

If you can get a couple of allen head screws it would give you a little more clearance around them. The chain is really close to the bolt heads on mine. Will change them out at some point over the winter.

I invested in a coolster. Could you recommend a website for buying parts and or mods. I see things like wheel spacers for these machines that i would like to investigate. Also shocks might be a priority. I have no idea where to start. Thanks.

APSCUSA.com carries parts for Coolster but won't have the parts listed on there site. But if you call Don or email them they will quote you the price on the parts.

Not sure if they changed the rear rims from the 2014 model but I recentlly just flipped the wheels with the valve stem in the inside. The rim center is offset. Now the rear wheels have the same width as the front. I'll see if I can get a before and after picture.

The Rhino is a nice looking quad. And I've thought of getting one but that swing arm looks weak to me. Its just tubing, but hey it may be stronger than it looks. I'll probably just keep the idea of putting a china motor in the TRX. Good info in this thread though, good reading.

Might not be a bad idea. I rode my neighbors 450 TRX and it's a monster. Not counting the mega-power difference, I loved the TRX suspension. The Rhino is a nice quad for the $$$, especially if you're using it for utility purposes....but man....it's like riding a ridged until the shocks wear out. Fortunately, that doesn't take too long. My buddy Swampy has the two Kandi 150 quads and those actually have some real suspension on them.

I've been looking at some other shocks for the Rhino but I usually never leave first gear around the house.

I got to take the Rhino out today prospecting. It made it up the big hill out of the creek .. Between the Mikuni clone and the sprockets it took it like it was nothing. Was towing a trailer with about 300lbs of gear.

Tickled I didn't have to use the winch this time.

Awesome news Darth! As much as I didn't want to spend that much on a couple sprockets, I think it's my next purchase.....with chain. It'll either be that or replace a clutch next season.
