help finding 17 inch rear and 19 inch tires
The front is 1.85 inches wide and the rear is 2.15. or
Rear 110/90-17 66p Front 90/90-19 Weirdest sizes to try and find. I need dot tires that are good off-road and not crazy expensive. I do a lot of mud, rock, and dirt riding. And I do some street riding too but the trails I'm on are crazy hard with these stock mainly street tires. |

Will a 4.60 with tire really fit on a 2.15 inch rim? And a 2.75 inch on a 1.85 rim? how wide is unsafe? Also what are the toughest tubes I can use with them?

Check the tire manufacture's website of the tires you're considering. It should list the tire and the safe rim size that the tire will fit. Also, consider running a front 17 inch tire on the rear. There should be a good deal of 19 inch fronts. A lot of large adventure bikes run that size on the front.

thats why they make 120 dirt bike tyres when just about all real dirt bikes have a 2.15 rear rim... I have done it for years.. But a tyre around 3.00 /3.25 "90" would be a better fit on a 1.85 rim.. 1.60 is the normal size front rim... tubes... if you are going to run low pressure on the dirt don't go to the ultra heavy tubes...at low pressre they don't comform to the tyre as well as a thiner tube... Have you ever seen a ultra heavy tube with wear/rub marks on it... because the tube is moving around in the tyre at low pressure.... ..

I checked my Brozz and the rear is 2.50 and the front is 1.85 Well the front is an issue I can not find a fit for a 1.85 rim These would work for me but you sound like you want all dirt http://shinko-ltd.co.jp/motorcycle/tire/804_805.html the 17 in the E700 would meet your specs http://shinko-ltd.co.jp/motorcycle/tire/700.html Looking at the shinko site I see a bunch of tires available.... Maybe take a look and see what ones you are interested in.
