Hi-Bird CDI
The Hi-Bird CDI appears to have a different plug configureation than most of the other GY bikes. The others appear to have typical Honda plugs. The only Honda that I can find that has the same plug type as the Hi-Bird's is the Honda Elite 150 scooter and not much in the way of "performance CDI's". Anyone know more about this Type CDI plug type that might work for performance on these Hi-Birds? Thanks

Hey dirt road, Check the website that was provided earlier. They had a pigtail that could be used to adapt their unit for pit bikes and such with different conecters.
You would need to figure out what each terminal is for but I think that would be a solultion to your quest. |

Thanks, I saw that but I was kinda looking for a plug and go set up. I have a wiring diagram but I'd rather shop and research a little so it will be an easy change back if I have undesirable results.
Edited; I looked at those pit bike pigtails again, they don't look like they will do the job either.

No, I hanen't found anything that will match the plugs that is a high performance CDI. Where did you order your 39 from? I have a 44 on one and a 46 on the other right now.
