Need a little more info to really make a judgement.
When it stops, does it stop suddenly, or does it start missing, get worse, and then stop ? When you re-start it, does it start easily, full choke -- no choke ? Does it have fresh gas -- with/without ethanol.? Are you in a cold climate ?

Could be your gas cap seal or petcock or crud in the carb. It could be a lot of things. Fresh gas and trying to run the bike without a gas cap would be my first set of checks. Then drain the bowl to make sure you are getting gas to the carb. Do you have a voltmeter to check your battery?
Gas and spark are the first things to look for IMHO.

Sounds like you are not getting any gas. Most likely a plugged up jet. Make sure gas is getting to the carb from the tank too.
I had a stuck float on my 125 after it sat for a few weeks. The carb was new too. Only about 3 hours on it. Allen

I'm with Ironfist, I'd try to run the bike without the gas cap and see if that helps. It might just be a plugged up vent in the cap.

Sounds like Another plugged Pilot Jet...................... and or maybe not running an air filter.

Yes you are supposed to be able to see through them... I hope you didn't run a drill bit through the pilot jet, that could ruin the size it's supposed to be. Same with the main jet.
