2014 dez 100
will be riding the 2014 dez 100 again this year! anyone in the north west joining in? I'm going for a different strategy this year and will be riding vintage on my yamaha IT490. (just one 50 mile lap )
main race is April 6th in odessa WA

I don't know...
I feel bad for not doing it last year. Andy ran it last year on his KLX, and being an ex pro rider he did well, until he blew out his front tire on the second lap. He told me I would have not liked it, and he knows my riding and ability well. I just think I'd be afraid of the crowds and getting run over. I'm also afraid of hitting something bad in the dust that I can't see.

Had a load of fun at the race ended up taking 4th in my class. Course was pretty brutal this year very rocky and way too dusty. I have been spoiled by the rain the past couple years. had a nice descriptive message written out but my internet died as it was posting so it was lost.

Thanks for posting the photographs and video. I see you rode your 2-stroke Yamaha. I bet your air filter was very dirty after that race.
