interesting bike from Genuine Motorcycles
The article says the engine is made by Shineray. Looks pretty nice to me, and is a couple thousand dollars less than the Yamaha SR400.

Great looking bike. I really like the retro styling, and 400cc is a great size for all around street use including freeway commuting.

I like that bike a lot. It reminds me of my first motorcycle, a 1979 Honda CB400T. However, I like the single cylinder, and the Siemens fuel injection better on this motorcycle.

Since Genuine are designing bikes to be retro, I would like to see an old enduro style bike next. A 250 thumper. Low enough seat for beginners. Kind of like the same idea that CCW has been doing a few years now with their Heist, MIsfit, and Ace. Heck, if CCW built a retro enduro with their proprietary single, I would take it!

I borrowed that photo of the black, Hawk 400 from the internet. However, my bike looked exactly like that one. I had a lot of fun on that Honda Hawk, and looking at this Genuine G400C brings back good memories.

My best friend from grade school, through high school, had a blue Honda 400 Hawk. He later sold it to his sister. He passed away about 5 years ago now.
Here is the 400 Hawk model that I liked best: http://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk...nda-cb400t.jpg

Genuine Scooter 400cc motorcycle for 2016
Genuine Scooter Co will offer a G400C small motorcycle in 2016.
Looks like Genuine has given up on producing a maxi scooter. Unlike their scooters, it appears that the G400C will be built in mainland China, like the Mash Five Hundred. http://www.scooterfile.com/oems/genu...ycle-for-2016/

Yes, that's a nice motorcycle. There is another thread started on this topic at the following link.

I believe the Genuine 400 is a single with dual exhaust ports, like the Honda XR 400 and the old XL500. That's what they told me on the ModernBuddy forum.
