Vader issues
Ok so everything was great and i changed to the recommended led headlight bulbs. The thing keeps blowing fuses. The dash will come on without the key in and then blows the new fuse. Im terrible at electrics and dont know where to start. I changed back to stock bulbs and same thing.

Someone had this exact problem not too long ago--I think he went through all the wiring and had to find his short. Look through this section to see if you can find the thread.

I looked at that thread and mine worked fine up until the point i changed those bulbs. I'll still give it a look but it just seemed odd to me that it was fine and then not.

On my TGB scooter, I had an issue once I pulled my rear bulb since it had shaken itself loose from the time I purchased it to the next week I got it home and tried to start it. It kept blowing fuses. What it was, once I unbolted the rear light assembly, the metal bar that is the ground had moved and was laying across the other bars. Normally, the bulb physically pushes the ground out of the way, but for some reason, when I originally took the bad bulb out, the bar moved and was pushed across the other metal bars. When I put a new bulb in, it pushed the ground across the other bars and caused the short, time and time again. It needed to be bent back into shape. See if where you took the bulb out, everything is where it is supposed to be, or is it bent out of shape and the ground had moved. I know I am not being clear, and wish I had photos to show you, but if it is not the wiring, it could be the bulb assembly.

I've been messaging with the guy that had a similar problem and apparently there is another fuse which is a blade type. I haven't been able to spot that one. Maybe he will get back to me on that.

Ok, so I think my problem may be very simple but I hate to say it and jinx it. The manual said it's a 5A fuse and i took it's word for it. When I found my old fuse it says 250 A on it. So I'm assuming this is a 2.5 A fuse. I hope that's all it is.

Fixed. When i put my bulbs I crossed one of the connections inside the bulb socket by pushing too hard.

Great! Like I mentioned, my TGB had a similar issue which seemed bigger than it was (it kept blowing each new fuse I put in, one after another).

That one isn't too bad--I mean, it is Chinese after all
I haven't kept up with all the details regarding Maxipad, but I am sure most problems with the Vader, he has come across and resolved? You can try PMing him, or find him on youtube. Funny thing is--when the Chinese enduros were new in the early to mid-2000s, which is the major reason this site was created, there were many 'mystery' ills and issues with those, and look how far the enduros have come. These minis shouldn't take as long to evolve, but I am guessing the solutions to the issues are 'right there.' Like some of us were back in the day, you guys with the minis are the 'pioneers' with them--and believe me when I say 'you guys' have it much better than we did!

It helps when you put the shock in instead of the way it was shipped

I guess when there is no manual, you are assembling it 'hit or miss' style!
