TBR7 score!
I just bought a brand new TBR7 with zero miles and partially assembled for $650! The original owner lacked the mechanical ability to deal with these types of bikes so he wanted out. I had to mount some plastic body panels and make all the adjustments, change oil etc...) but it sat for a few months so the battery is junk, getting a new one tomorrow. I have to check the valves yet and I just ordered a new carb and jets. The only thing I am missing one of the foot pegs. What pegs fits this bike? Any suggestions?

If all Chinese manufacturers use standard pegs, then KLR 650 pegs might fit. If too expensive or they don't fit, try Taotao itself.

I just glanced at my TBR7 and it seems one could re-purpose one of the passenger's pegs in the short run. I would not let the lack of pegs stop me from riding a $650 bike... The rear pegs are un-sprung and a bit longer so they would easily scrape. I can scrape the stock pegs (and my boots) easily as they are set a bit forward compared to my street bike but, it feels impressive, like dropping the hoop height so 5'-8" types can slam dunk. I just saw a site that sells front pegs: https://partskit.com/product/search/...d%20Rear%20End Front Foot Peg Set OD8?w/ washer, spring, cotter Pin for TBR7 118002 $26.00 |
