Timing
anyone know how to advance the timing on a lifan 200cc 163 fml engine??

You can move the pickup coil (it's inside the engine cover) to advance the timing. It's not meant to be adjusted and will take some tweaking to move it.
I did it with good results, but others had poor results (same goes with swapping CDI units). I moved mine back just to be on the safe side. If you're looking for more top end a bigger carb and better exhaust would be the way to go. |
