Ordered an intake gasket for a CRF230 in my relentless search for a bolt on socket style insulator intake manifold. The flange is extremely similar, so I have a feeling the intake could be made to work. I should find out in a few days.

It was 50 degrees out here in southern Michigan so I took General Tso out for a good ride around devils and round lakes.

Very interested on how this works. Not that we break a lot of cables. I'm just horribly addicted to modding.

First warm weekend in what feels like forever. I hadn't ridden the TT250 in about ten days so I oiled up the chain and took it out for a blast. Great to ride in warm weather, for a change.

Great to hear it SullyBiker, Nice TT.

Twice a year we have a giant neighborhood yard sale in or HOA community. I zip tied a milk crate to the rack and took my tiny wife from sale to sale.

Alot of people dug the idea and I was able to park on the walkway alot and get her right up close.

What was funny a lot of people said they never heards us drive up and wondered how a motorcycle ended up there, many conversations Ensued.

Alot of smiles and thumbs up through out the ride!

Took a ride on my Hawk Saturday and went meet up with one of our new Chinarider member and showed him the Hawk. I think he's hooked lol. Hey Frank , Hurry up, Need a riding buddy.
Now that it has warmed up my Hawk is running a little rich. I could barely get 67 mph out of her and was starting to cut out at the higher rpm's. So I got up Sunday morning, Adjusted the valves ( They were a little tight) and dropped down to a 115 jet. (Really needs a 117.5 but didn't have one). I took a 94 mile ride and what a difference. I hit 76mph but had to slow down. The wind was blowing pretty hard and got a little scary.

As much as I like the Hawk in black, it didn’t have any depth. So, between rides I masked the plastics off and added some trim color.

I'm at about 4000 miles and I needed to change the oil. So I changed it. The bike is barely using any.

Also checked the valves. They still havent moved since I set them after break in, which really surprised me.

What Did You Do to your Chinese Bike Today?

I did the following today to my Brozz Recon 250:
- changed oil at 120 miles to Shell Rotella T4
- Fabricated a bracket bracing for the floppy tail-light/plate assembly
- fixed digital dash turn signal connector which had a bent pin from the factory
- drilled another 4 holes in the stock exhaust back plate for a total of 8 1/4" holes.. increased sound over stock by a good 30% and is nice to hear the exhaust now when revved over the click/clack of the engine.. not loud at all but an improvement and best of all free.

Put an end to the leaking gas cap when I fill a little more than maybe i should. Made in Japan doesn't leak. Crazy though that they are so similar. Japan part on the left.
