How wide is the seat? It's hard to tell from the photos I've seen so far but it looks like it is wider than the typical dirt bike.

Excellent....That was the deciding factor between focusing on getting a CRF250 or a TT Special. I suspect that an XR650L and a TT Special will def for sure be finding homes in my collection to go with my Interceptor and DT250. ![]()

Instrument cluster
Hi Joe,
Are all the specs on the TT250 has been finalized? I am hoping there are options like an OEM tachometer and gear indicator I can order for my bike. I know I can get get them after market but OEM would be much clearer look and might be cheaper too. I watched your YouTube video and I agree with you that a fuel gauge is fluff if the gas tank has reserve. I disagrees with you that a tachometer is not needed especially on a carb bike. I use the tachometer and speedometer on my Nighthawk to determine what gear I am in at al times. I also use it to set idle speed from time to time. Wish list: a couple of USB ports and 1/4"-20 for 1" Ram mount ball somewhere near the dash board for GPS and GoPro would be sweet. ![]()

This bike is based on the same bike as the hawk so it should be the same. My seats width is like all my street bikes not a dirt bike.

those are the kinds of videos I was looking for. I think I'll be quite happy once it gets to my house. It'll be like Christmas in March.

Welcome back to the US, Joe! And thanks for the great blog on the Columbian adventure, and for sharing this photo in particular:
![]() Now, not that I'm impartial (since I have a RX3 in the fastest color... Orange) but that Orange TT Special looks pretty darned good to my eye! |

![]() Obviously, AKT has assembled a supermoto version of the Zongshen TT250, with cast wheels. ![]()

In Joe's blog he talks about the AKT factory in Colombia and there are a few pics of RX3's on the assembly line.
I wonder if they manufacture the bike there, or they just assemble parts shipped in from Chongqing? Cheers, Dan K.
