I wouldn't be surprised if the 3.8 only needs valve stem seals.

You'll likely make out well parting out Big Gulp.

Probably. It only does it on start up. Been that way for a few years. I just add oil. Runs fine.

For Big Gulp. I think it has a Dana 60 full floating rear axle with disc brakes. Sounds like those are valuable to off-road buggy people and racers.

That's clearly too fancy for guys like us.

Do you need all of that seating? I can't help but think you would prefer (and deserve) a 3/4 ton crew cab.

The extra seats come in nice. Our family size varies from week to week. Still would like the truck, but this also does better on gas and ride.

Better on gas? That's a surprise. I figured all of that sheet metal, glass and seating would make the Yukon XL worse.

Possible donar van.

Might be more likely to swap parts from Gulp to this one.

With a lot of hard work it could be restored to normal configuration and would probably serve you well.
Why do lines like that always attract me?

It looks like the price will be right, and an eight cylinder won't be quite as thirsty.

I think we are gluttons for projects.

Emailed the seller. It was parked due to them no longer doing the driver training. The aftermarket controls did not work correctly.

We would fix the newer van with parts from the older one. Big Gulp had some rain water leak issues along with some rust starting.

I am thinking a head gasket failure. We will know by this time tomorrow if Gulp 2.0 is on the way.

I hope that works out for you. The original Gulp has too many good parts to not make use if it.

No go on that van. I have some parts sales in the works. Wife want me to get an F250 crew cab. I need to find one in Gas with 6 passenger configuration.
