If a guy looks at your last picture and does not feel jealous, he needs a doctor to check for a pulse. Amazing area you have the privlige to ride in, and great bike too, BTW.

I got into Puno, the mototaxi junket drivers aren't here, apparently they changed the start of the race to Cusco on very short notice. No big deal, I love the Andes, riding back to Lima through the Andes.
A 125 @ 13,000+ feet, a lot of women passengers ride sidesaddle up here

Thanks for posting more beautiful photos, OG! I can't imagine a 125cc bike has much power at 13,000 feet above sea level, even when it is only carrying one person, not two! 8O

Spud. I see a lot of 125 motos and mototaxis riding at 13,000-15,000 feet, check this out! http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=677636

Caught up with them yesterday, awesome! http://mototaxijunket.theadventurists.com/ I followed this team for awhile while they were heading down the mountain into Abancay, two women and one hombre, all were leaning hard into the corners. A 125cc machine, carrying three people high in the Andes!

The view in the last photo is amazing!
I've never had a good look at the driveline in a mototaxi until now, and it appears that they don't have a live axle. Makes sense, because cornering would be rather difficult otherwise. Love how they hang into the turns. 8)

Thanks for that photo. 8)
That's a pretty good shot of the jackshaft; I'm guessing that there is a provision for chain tension for both the drive and driven chains. Interesting that this specific mototaxi is Honda badged, where the majority (that we've seen so far) say Lifan or some other China marque. I'm diggin' the panniers on the bike that's being washed. Is that yours?

That's pretty cool. I visited the Mayan ruins at Tulum in Mexico, and I'd sure like to see more.
Wow, 198,000 km on their 125cc Mavila? They've got Spud beat by a long shot. Do the three of them ride together, like in photos I've seen? Do they speak your language or you theirs?
