Nope, we're back at home. I wish I would have learned about these bikes while I was in Oregon. :?

Yeah I enjoy his show, I don't watch it too often though.

I tried to tell you earlier, but the website was down. :( Perhaps you were already home, anyway.

The CBC lifted the ban! I just watched the video, and now, indeed, I know everything I ever wanted to know about Canada, but was afraid to ask!

I didn't know Jim Carrey was from Canada; however, he taught me a few other things I did not know about the country.

According to the healthcare debate this isn't true.

It is funny.

I'm in this one.

He did most of his intro, and interviews right in front of our pit.

Watch for me at 49 seconds

I've seen that Jim Carrey clip before, good old Mantook.

Rick Mercer didn't seem to do too bad on that bike if it was really his first time...

It's funny, I heard an interview with him a few weeks before that, and he was talking about how all he could afford when he was young was a little street bike. So he does have some experience.

It's funny, and it needs loads of qualification. Healthcare varies from Province to Province, in terms of administration and costs. To be fair, the video did not demonstrate the care that you would receive at your family GP. We've only gone to the ER at the hospital if it was an actual emergency; even if you're in trouble, you'll wait if somebody else is dying (that's triage).

We have a local clinic that we use when we need something quick, or it's after regular GP hours. That said, we have certainly been able to see out GP the same day; we just choose to not waste his time if the concern can be handled at the clinic.

In BC, healthcare isn't free, it's cheap. Right now, we're paying $1368.00 per year for our family, and clinics, hospitals and GP visits are included. Drugs are not.
