All this talk about riding in shorts reminded me about going out to El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in the high desert outside L.A. with my DR250s and my friend, his fiance and his 2-stroke CR500 back in our early 20s (I just joined the half century club). I don't recall the details, but it involved a few beers, a bet made by my friend's fiance, and me riding the CR500 in just boxer shorts and boots at top speed. Wheelies were not planned, were terrifying, but made me look cool at least according to Eddie and his fiance
