I did something very stupid when I bought my bike from them. I was going to use Buy It Now, but they asked me to not use eBay to keep them from paying the eBay fees. So I just sent them money via PayPal. So feedback isnt an option, that is my fault.
I will probably try calling them Monday. Thanks for the info. Neil |

Hi,
They asked me to do the same thing when I called before I purchased even said they would give me a $20 credit. I thought it sounded a little fishy so I used Buy it now. Perhaps if you e-mail the sales manager Tracee and include a link to this site it may motivate her to take care of you. sales@family-motors.net It sounds like I wasted my money on the extended warranty  Regards -Ray

Have your talked to them yet. We had a broken air filter box and they sent it right away had it in about a week. Tracey is good to talk to or talk to the guy in technical support they should get the part for you.

Maybe I have an old email address for them. I have "BestHobbyShop@comcast.net" .
Thanks again for the info, this site is great. I wish I would have found it before I bought my bike, I would have known to grease that bolt! thanks. neil |

I will give them another couple days.... Never in a million years would I ever have thought it would be so hard to find a bolt... |

Incredible
Almost 2 weeks now and no one has called me back. I even tried my local Fastenal and they can get a 14mm bolt in that length.
Looks like I have to go to a machine shop and have them make me one. That's pretty sad. Everyone told me when I bought this bike that parts would be hard to get. I shrugged them off. Not only are they hard to get, sometime they are impossible to get. Anyone want a bike? |

Hey Man don't get discouraged. S^%t happens. You gotta fight through it. Look up RPM or ejcycles here on this forum. They are both China bike dealers with lots of knowledge and can get any part you need.
Here is the parts break down for the Roketa swingarm assembly. http://www.terminatorscooter.com/product/parts_detail.jsp?partId=11587&partName=REAR%20WHEE L%20ASSEMBLY(4) It shows the bolt you need (part #16), but it lists it as 12 mm, not 14 mm??

Found this today thought you might be interested. Jetmoto seems to have swing arm bolts that will most likely fit. http://www.jetmotousa.com/part_info.php?pid=2548231
Hope this helps.

You know what, that bolt on jetmoto's site should work but is it any better than the bolts already on the bikes are should we keep looking for much higher quality bolts for the critical area's.
After seeing the failure of the engine mount bolts on my bike I worry about the swing arm bolts as well as the front/rear axle bolts. Thought of doing a wheelie or a jump and laughing at the tire rolling by only to realize it's YOUR tire is just to scary to think about. |
