Good Point,
Even the automatic chokes on the old carbed cars didnt suck so bad.

Ahhhh, so you do have experience in tuning. Your right. I downloaded the software and is set up very similar to megatune software. One of these days I'll probably get the cheap EFI system just to play around it. It's just not priority on my list right now.
Most of my tuning experience has been HPTuners tuning FI V8s for racing.
I'd say go for it and buy a kit since you do have experience in tuning.

I think the best automatic chokes were the ones that Chrysler invented for their cars and trucks. Instead of a heat tube carrying exhaust gas up to the choke, they designed a 'stove' that was attached outside the manifold, with the bi-metalic coil inside the stove operating the push/pull rod to the choke plate and the fast idle cam. The kind everybody else used ran part of the exhaust up a tube to directly heat the bi-metalic coil. Problem was carbon would start plugging the tube right from the first day...ARH

So I have no experience with Fuel injection and want to use the kit without an o2 sensor because I don't want to weld my exhaust, how do I do that?

i think it depends on the product ,now if its 1969 camaro that one put an ls3 engine in with a efi coversion ,then if you got the big money for the most saught after camaro ever ,but 200.00 or more on a china bike ,will wait till they have them i guess on the bike, hawk DLX efi comeing

Take my 406 edelbrock carb auto choke starts right up every time goes to 2k rmps brings oil to the top of the engine, only thing one does have to deal with a carb is you do put up with a bit more gas smell from a carb then efi ,

Efi for the right app is great ,till my carb was tuned right in my camaro ,i was thinking about it for my 406 over $2000.00 vs the 400.00 for the carb glad i got my carb tuned right

one more thing a 1969 camaro with efi is sought after alot more then 1995 camaro with efi, even if they both have high performance engines,in a china bike ,100.00 is all i would pay, plus it takes the fun out of getting that 18 to 20 hp out of the bike, many old cars are going efi though now an it does not affect value it bring its up in some cases an alot mecum Auctions has them all the time,i think its on today the druel over the expencive cars show ,but behind the seens many deals are made for alot less
