P.S. I must admit, I'm puzzled why Kawasaki did not supply the KLX250S with a 300cc engine. Spud

That's another question for the ages. My guess is tiered licensing in other market countries.

Regarding the Zongshen 150GY-10C, I haven't seen this bike currently available for sale anywhere outside the Philippines. Perhaps this bike is indeed sold elsewhere, but I haven't seen reports of it. To the best of my knowledge, these Zongshen bikes are not being sold in the United States, and I don't know when they are supposed to become available here. Perhaps Zongshen is downsizing its presence in the United States. :? Spud

The US market should have been easy for them.
Simply stick with the proven 2006 model 200cc Sierra. Swap the wheels for 21/18's and sell it for less than $2,000 and BACK IT UP! :? I don't know what motivates the Commies...

cosmetically better, and the engine was way better - vibration is minimal, runs smoother and the details from wire harnessing to metal finishes this zong is not bad at all... i've had 110, 200, 250, 400 to 2 600cc road/street race bikes all honda (i love Honda actually), and just 1 yamaha fz600...and of course they are of different class... the zong is my first bike that i can take off and on road so i enjoy it in different way... basic maintenance i do myself, but not that much.. i leave it to the pro... |

actually being 150cc, in my gauge, this bike can equal that of 200cc's and maybe because being new this can out perform 200s even on straights... the 110kph top is just as much as 200cc can so far... acceleration is impressive as i can get to 60 to 80kph quicker than my former 200... i won't be surprised if it can go better than other xr200...

If I may ask, where did you buy your bike? What price are the local dealers asking for a new, ZS150GY-10 motorcycle? Spud

Now what we have is the KLX150, this is sold at 115KPesos (2,664.205 U.S. dollars) for enduro type and 130KPesos for motards (3,011.71 U.S. dollars)... Big gap to chinese' to consider as they are of the same class... |
