It's good to know the $2,000 ceiling is applicable in Canada, as well as the United States.

That is just the bike. As far as I know PP is not bringing in the dualsport model and nothing was said to me about being able to get the dualsport setup from PP.
I have to disagree with you Weld. The prices in 90% of the country are nowhere near that low. You live in one of two area's where the population density is high enough to bring down the price.

I've been drawn more to Supermotos as well, MEDMUNDS. You can tune the suspension for sport bike-like handling with a more upright riding style. Son of Weldangrind and I are planning a Supermoto project soon.

I've never tried a sidecar. They've always looked a little freaky to me, but I'd still like to ride one. My favourite is the CJ750; Son of Weldangrind and I would like to get a pair of them, but probably without the sidecar.

Stew, would you mind to give us some specs on your front wheel? I'm looking for spoke count, rim diameter and rim width. I'd be very grateful.

![]() Here's a few pics to show the differences with the enduro wheels. First a pic of the bike (ew, dirty!) with the enduro wheels, ![]() Then a pic of the supermoto wheels leaned up in front of the enduro ones. You can see the radical difference between the front wheel sizes but the rear looks pretty close (since knobby is 18 and sm is 17 theyre pretty close) ![]() Finally, a close up of the writing on the sm rim. ![]() Hope the info helps ![]() Edit: Side note, the wheels are all aluminum but the supermoto ones are black andonized. |

You're the man, Stew! Thanks!
I have a 17" rim for the supermoto project, but it's really skinny (haven't measured it yet). I'm hoping to find a rim like yours and lace the exisiting hub. We'll see how that works. Is the front tire the same size as the rear? What is the size?

Are your front and back SM rims the same? I've been looking around for some good street tires at 17x2.5 and it is surprisingly hard. Closest I've found are IRC NR53 moped tires. Are there other tire sizes you can mount on 2.5s?
