Fascinating! I had no idea there was a current Honda that used a CG motor.

I'm quite surprised by the Flex Fuel specs. There is an almost immeasurable increase in HP and torque when using ethanol fuel, but the economy is cut in half! The price of ethanol in Brazil must be less than half that of gasoline to even consider it.

The North American rep for Bashan on mychinamoto showed a bigger Broz clone they were selling (bigger engine) which is more aggressive looking than the NXR on the Bashon thread http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...han-BS200GY-18. Bluberry, you were on that site, too, and on that thread.

Blueberry--I like the look of your bike, and the seat looks alot like the TMEC 200 seat--I find the seat very comfortable at least for the 16 miles each way to work and back I sit on it!

My only complaint just looking at it--they 'cheaped' out on the specs for the 200 vs. the 250 (229cc) and did not put a rear rack on the 200!! I honestly would not buy the 200 just because of that!

Looking at the photo I posted above of the 250 Bros replica (I have not seen that model offered in the US as of yet) I would not buy that one either due to no rack. Is there space for a rack?

Good job! Looks very like my Storm 250. Apart from the rack and forks.
Any issues with the tank leaking when full? It's human nature to cram as much as possible in lol
Nice vid, how many miles (or KM) have you put on it? I ran the original oil for the first 100km then put in some Mobil1 Vtwin. I have about 850km on it now.
I will be curious to see if you can find a smaller sprocket for the rear.. and if it is the same as mine (50T I think mine was) Might be a better option to go up a tooth on the front. Clock shows 65 67 top speed, GPS says 63 - 65 It doesn't change much 2 up, and to be honest it works OK for me/us

Hopefully, Bashan used one of the old Honda models for the rear wheel as far as rear sprockets go for you guys. My TMEC used some obscure Japanese/Euro models 125cc bikes bolt patterns, so I had to find a retailer who would mail-order to the US, or try JT Sprockets US division (the headquarters are in the UK), who told me they would have to order it from the UK, and all kinds of stuff! The least teeth available via JT are 48, or else custom. That being said, your Bashan bikes probably are the same bolt pattern as many of the Chinese GY bikes--an old Jetmoto 200 enduro I had several years ago, I used a 1980 XL185 thru Dennis Kirk. For my old bike, without touching the front sprocket, I went with a 46 tooth rear, and it made a whole world of difference as far as vibrations at speed. It used to sound like it was killing itself at an indicated 55 mph, but with the 46 tooth sprocket, while it wouldn't cruise much faster, it was humming along like it had no cares in the world.
