Also had a sickening realization earlier on last night. I have all these performance goodies for the Minarelli 50cc CVT transmission, (same CVT as a QMB139 uses ) and the GY6 transmission it t-totally different. Dang.

Update 02 23 2016
Well, all the heap o stuff I bought, , , is still in a pile in the storage shed.
I am finally coming back to fixing the scooter I blew the hell up last year ( July'ish) I took the "70cc" piston and jug out, and sure enough, it had seized and melted some of the piston into the jug. Amazing it ever started back up and limped home at all!!!!! Hard to tell in the picture below, but there are FOUR areas around the piston where it had melted. Sadly, I have lost ALLLLLLL enthusiasm for this project. My only current motivation is my wife's constant nagging about my " scooter junk" taking up garage space. SO, I had a "come to Jesus meeting" with her a few nights ago, and decided to put the scoot back to factory specs, completely like new, and sell it at a massive loss. Massive loss still helps pay myself back for the Vulcan 500 I just bought.

If the timing was right, and since I have a Chinese Ruckus knockoff 'project on my mind (using the Taotao Cruiser 50 since I can get them wholesale-ish prices) I would have been interested in your 150cc GY-6 engine; but I have not done my taxes yet, and other things need taking care of first, like jettisoning the TMEC and buying a Hawk!

02 27 16 update
Finally got the " little monster " ( the black over-bored hopped up scooter ) put back together yesterday. Worked from 2PM till 11PM bolting it back together. Went ONE mile and it seized the SECOND engine up. I have determined the oil feed pump feeding oil to the carburetor ( 2-Stroke engine ) has failed and it is what caused the last meltdown. That was a long, mostly uphill, push back to the house.
So, now I have no good pistons or jugs for the PGO 2 stroke engine. ( Minareli engine ) I am at the point that if I am to have a running scooter to sell, I have to drop a load more money into it. The scooter is worthless as is. . Pic from tonight packed in with the others. . .

For all it's worth, I can ask the folks at Excalibur how much a TGB 2-stroke engine costs. Another alternative; find a cheap Chinese 2-stroke which do exist on those large mail-order dealers from time to time to part out the engine?
