I had a MGBGT hard top with the 3.5 liter Rover V8 motor for a while... meany meany moons ago.... Did that thing know how to get rid of a tank of gas... Almost traded it for a MGC with the 2 liter six .. "Thrumph motor" bought a 4wd ute "pickup to you fella's" instead... ..

Its surprising how poor the mileage of thoses cars was back then. My 100 HP (hot at the time) Fiat got 16-18 in normal driving. A 600 HP Corvette will beat that nowadays.
