Reserve capacity

I was wondering how many miles (or km) in average we can ride on reserve, after the normal gas is gone on XF200.

Does anyone know about it? Also how much gas is on reserve mode?

Thanks

It's completely dependent upon how long the main petcock inlet tube is. The longer the tube, the more fuel is left in the tank before having to use the reserve side.

I think the correct filter is a Hi-Flo 131 (costs $4.99) and any 10w40 oil at about $3.00 - Takes literally four minutes to do the job. Warm the engine, pull the bottom plug, remove three crown nuts on the cover of the filter and replace filter. Fill with oil until you see it in the middle of the site glass. This is a $10 to $15 job max. I even went to the dealer to price the oil filter form them directly. They said they would sell to me for around $5.
xf200 where have you been? you have not posted since january. at least not that i can see. but this is the filter. confirmed from someone who is using it.

I am new in this forum and I am happy with both the bike which I use to commute to work 5 days/week and also happy with this forum.
As I explained before, I have been treated pretty bad by the only QLINK dealer in Raleigh,NC. He is rude, careless about customers and also VERY expensive.
I am glad to have confirmed that the filter HF131 fits on XF200. I will shop on the web for this filter. Anty suggestions where to buy it? Some places want to sell just in 20 + quantity.

Also another question is ...when I have to replace the oil filter do I need to replace any gasket?

I am counting on this forum help

Thanks

Hey, I know this thread is old but I just wanted to update it with some info.

I have a 2013 XF200 with both electric start and kick start. The dimensions of the filter are 40mm tall, OD 44mm, ID 13mm. The KN-131 oil filter from ebay is a easy purchase and a perfect fit in the bike.

Happy Riding
