The camo bike has a chain guide too.

I was just thinking... you may need a different sized wrench to take the crate apart... or it could be the same as of the other ones... I should go check what it had...

I've seen those bikes posted on this site before but I don't think they're here in the US.
Let us know how it goes.

I really like the saddle bag additions to the rear rack and the HORNS. I was actually looking at the camo bike online the other day.

Where are you getting this from? Is it available in the US?

I'll ask the factory rep if the bike is in the states. I was told it is in Canada under a different brand, but the company hasn't told me which brand yet.

Me too. They look great for the street but they probably wouldn't hold up to rugged off-road riding.

Those are the Shineray bikes we had discussed a while ago. On their site, they show this bike in camo green.

I had found a link on their site to a video in which they feature this bike, but in red. If you go to the 'videos and photos' section, find the thread I started regarding a Shineray video. There is a very bizarre ending to it--come to think of it, the beginning doesn't make much sense either. But during the video, this bike is featured doing some trail riding.

here's the link, hope the video can still play

that video is embeded on the shineray factory club site

http://www.shineray.com/club if you want to check it out. But it is all in Chinese

The bike is designed as a military scout version as well as an enduro tourer. This si why it has the big gasstank and all the racks. Theside racks don't look super strong but are meant to be used as stand off bars for soft bags. They unbolt from the main rack so you could have some tougher one made if you want, but from what I've read and what I want to do with them, they should be perfecct for the job. My new soft bags come in the mail tomorrow and should look great on the bak of that bike.

I still don't understand why the guy hucks his bike off the cliff at the end of the video?!?! 8O

As rich_e mentioned "Shinerays rock! or is it fall like rocks?"

The racks are definitely ag-bike copies. I think there are some Aussies here, and 'mebigdave' from New Zealand might have them in NZ, too, but from what I can figure out, agriculture bikes are essentially two-wheeled ATV's. Some of the ranches, at least in Australia, are on the order of a million acres, and it would be far more difficult riding a utility ATV to check on the far fringes than an ag-bike. If you go to Honda of Austalia's site, they show a Honda ag-bike that looks suspiciously Chinese in origin (or is it the other way around,LOL)

Here's the link to the Agricultural bike from Honda of Australia.

Supersprignet--your bike has more useful rear racks than the stock Honda shows.

I wonder if Shineray would sell you one directly? Also, Komoto-Motors 250 enduro supposedly has a 3.4 gallon tank (look at www.anamcycles.com ) vs. the nearly identical Hi-Bird 250 (Hi-Bird manufactures the Komoto--go figure!) at 2 gallons. Perhaps Anamcycle could get you one of those?

I am going to see what I can find out about getting a tank. 3.4 gallons would double my distance I can travel.
