Stock up on parts

After my bike was indisposed for one week because of a burnt out headlight bulb, I thought it might not be a bad idea to stock up on parts. If a simple bulb can sideline my china bike for a week, I can't imagine how much longer it would be for a weighty part. Is this a good idea? If so, which parts should I stock up? Here is a list I started.

headlight, tail and brake light bulbs
clutch cable
brake pads
CDI
spark plug
tubes
tires
