Thank you, Stew! What lowering links have you installed? What do you like, and/or dislike about them?

Hey Spud! I installed a set that I bought off ebay. Theyre made of aluminum and drop the bike an inch and a half. I brought the forks up an equal amount to keep the handling stable. Now I can almost flat foot it, so it's much easier to back it up on gravel and such. I was on my tippy toes before so it was scary! I almost dropped it numerous times before deciding to lower it again.

Kicker is that when I bought the bike it was lowered. I raised it back up to stock (and gave my links to a friend that wanted to drop his), but after installing new tires that turned out to be taller and a wider seat I could barely touch the ground. Should have kept the old links I guess but I never thought I would be making my bike taller

My original links were made by "Precision" and looked to be a little better quality than my ebay ones. They were polished and radiused where my ebay ones are just milled with countersunk holes. Big difference though, much more secure to back up.

Just thinking... When I put regular sized tires back on I'll probably have to raise it up again
