I would set your gearing as high as possible to reduce buzz for the trip, every ounce of added comfort helps.
I'm not "official" but I've done multiple 1000+ mile days on larger bikes. June is ideal for the long days as mentioned. I would want a fuel can I think with the rx3s range you'll be stopping a lot. |

Mine too! Mine should be here this Monday! I had to take a day off work. Gosh I can't wait. It only cost me an additional 18 bucks a year to add it to my insurance policy. Progessive is the shit!!!!!!! |

Suspension travel
OK, I have looked high and low but cannot find the OEM claimed suspension travel for the 2016 RX3. I'm most interested in the rear travel so I can work on getting the sag to 30% but it would be useful to have the front travel as well.
So far I have worked to dial in the Progressive Suspension shock but have not gotten much sag. I intend to totally back off on the preload just to see what the max sag might be via preload. If that's not enough I think I need a softer spring. But, first, I need to know what the total travel is on the rear. Any info most appreciated. Peter Y. |

Congrats!
Now for the longest week of waiting in your life. At least that's what I felt like last week waiting on my bike to arrive. |

From Zongshen RX3 Owners manual
Stroke of front shock absorber 130 mm Free length of front shock absorber spring 425 mm Stroke of rear shock absorber 45 mm Free length of rear shock absorber spring 235 mm I remember seeing Spud's numbers somewhere, as being suspension travel.
