Awesome.

I heard the Moose unfortunately for Canuck fans that want their prospects getting more experience.

Glad to hear there will be more hockey in the valley too!

Game Four: Thurs, May 6th at 7 PM PDT Hamilton at Abbotsford (AESC)

Not a great night for Canucks fans last night, Canucks and Heat now both trail in their series 1 to 2.

The Heat play again tonight at 7pm in Abbotsford, if your in the area and not too busy you should check it out

Abbotsford Heat win game 4 of round 2 against Hamilton 4 - 1 tonight, tying the series 2 - 2, next game is Saturday at 7pm in Abbotsford.

Canucks lost last night making the series 2 - 1 for Chicago, good luck to them in game 4!

I've been in a foul mood the last couple games. Just dislike the Blackhawks a lot!! Hoping for good karma Friday at 6:30pm PST.

The Abbotsford Heat had been using "Chelsea Dagger" by the Fratelis as their goal song, the same one as Chicago, but I noticed tonight they didn't use it... I wonder if that's why.

Looks like your mood isn't going to be improving tonight... Hopefully on Sunday it will improve for you...

Bad bad bad.. I've never seen two games where it seems the stars are aligned against one team like this. Goalie not making saves, penalty killing just awful and bone head penalties combined with some shabby calls against it's just painful to watch as a long time fan.

If I were the Canucks coach I'd have been tossed out midway through the second period tonight... out of frustration for everything.

Like this I'd imagine,

I wanted to go to that game too but no one would go with me so I just listened on the radio... What a game to miss though it wasn't a good one for our team, it still would have been something to see in person.

Or there is the edited version put together by some radio jockeys I like the players in the background...

Edit: I guess I've already posted the first video, but not the second.

It wasn't a good night for the Heat, Hamilton won 5 - 2 (2 empty net goals at the end) to take a 3 - 2 lead in the series... Abbotsford is going to have to win the next to games in Hamilton to carry on.

O.k.....stepping in here on hallowed ground. 8)

1- What is hockey? Do they play that around the NFL? :o
2- My sports radio station says the San Jose Sharks are still playing and are a local team for me. Should I be excited? 8O

Sacriledge. :P

San Jose is a good club, been near the top of the Western Conference for a number of years with many playoff dissapointments. They are now in the Conference Final as they just eliminated the powerhouse Detroit Red Wings. They have some great Canadian players, like Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau. (of the Olympic Gold medal team)

You should tune in and watch sometime. I'm not sure how you can't like the sport if you give it a chance. It has everything you'd want. Strategy, speed, stats and it's rough. I've played both hockey and football, and I was way more banged up playing hockey. NHL players can skate upwards of 35 mph. Imagine doing that and then crashing into someone or into an unmovable wall (boards) ..

Or imagine stopping one of those 100 mph slap shots.
I played goal for 20 years

Hockey probably seems slow to non fans. Because we grew up with the game, it looks great to us, but doesn't always translate good to TV. Especially in non traditional hockey markets, where the production is not on par with ours.

Your Canucks are alive for another day, but I have to say don't like their chances if they have to rely on the Sedin's, and Wellwood to win.

Well it looks like both the Canucks and the Heat are out in game 6 of round two.
