Relooking at your Pictures The Speedo on the LXT Looks alot like the "Q" - Does that really have a HONDA Engine on it?

So It's A honda Clone? Intresting. If it is can't be to bad.....Looks like the Left side of the speedo is a Bit Different other then that the same.....

It seems to me that you could swap an XR400 cylinder, piston and head onto that bottom end, if you were so inclined. The XR400 engine runs all day long without coolant, but it does use a small heat exchanger behind the headlight to cool the oil.
Where is the dipstick on the XY? Is it on the engine? On my XR250R, it's in front of the gas tank.

doc ,please check your lower radiator hose ,mine is cracked and or rotten at both ends the chinese rubber is very poor ,and I have gotten no reply from pitster or xingyue canada ,, so if anyone knows of a suitable replacement ,,plus how did this all begin ? Is that daddy's pp400? I may keep mine now ,,,Iwas seriously gonna sell it cause we know so little bout these and what might fit ,,,but now since doc is on the case I feel better!

xr 400 tank probly won't work ,cause of the radiator ,but its worth a look

A little creativity and maybe a MIG welder could move a rad.
Fish, have you tried bulk heater hose from the local parts store? If you need an elbow in it, you could always insert one and secure it with gear clamps.

yes weld its got some pretty sharp bends in such a short length,, think the plastic elbows will hold up?

I emailed both pitster and xingyue canada as well as xingyue corp inquiring about gettin some parts particularlly the radiator hose,,no one has responded.
