I got the tire off but not the way you would think, I undid the four bolts on the side and wiggled it loose after removing the clasp holding the axle. I did this because I cannot get the axle loose , I pb blasted it and let it sit over night. My electric impact will have full charge,so I'll see if I can get it to budge today.I beat it with a hammer to get the thing that rides on the axle off and will not . I need to get these brakes working on the front because I had a idea. Im going to weld a trimmed piece of metal on to the foot peg so no legs can fall through and will give better footing for him.
Hopefully that did the trick! Those ATC's are an absolute blast (except for the running over your own leg part, I've done that a few times!)
I really enjoyed mine and built a utility trailer for it for hauling wood and feed on the farm. Quads never had quite the same feel to me, I preferred the handling of the trikes.
Lol, and I got to the point where I could overhaul the recoil in the dark with one hand tied behind my back! Not really, but I did get pretty good at it.\
I'm hoping that you and your friend get to do lots of trail riding, I'm sure he'll appreciate the effort you put into it .

STILL WORKING ON THE AXLE. Gosh who would have thought that it would be stuck after not using anti seize! I'm going to take the forks off and take it in to the auto shop that I take my stuff too.The shop owner knows me well by now and likes me so he lets me work on my stuff there and helps me when I get stuck. He knows my dad is gone and my mother is no help to anyone. I'm lucky to know them. Especially because I'm going to turn my ranger into a prerunner for jumping sand dunes. I found a little car a ford festiva painted like the general Lee. With horn included its awesome.
