2.203 would be the correct size.

No, Your hub is 58mm or 2.283" , I think the 1.937" would be to small, that's why I said 2.203" I may wrong. Did you measure the original clip?

Clip Size

I don't have a clip to measure. Mine either broke or fell off. Either way, I don't have one. Are these c-clips like some head bolts, use once and replace?

Csc tt250

I was on CSC's website, very nice and user friendly by the way. Anyway, they have a tutorial on changing the rear sprocket on their TT 250. It has a C-clip, but you don't have to reuse it. Their sprocket is held on with 4 bolts and they tell you to use Loc Tight!

https://www.cscmotorcycles.com/Articles.asp?ID=318

After my experience, I'm all about customer service! Or in my case, lack there of!

Have a great weekend!

Places that sell commercial bearings, seals and so forth should have these in stock. High quality D-rings, and C-rings. You want to have a good quality snap ring pliers to deal with them without distorting them. Make sure the sprockets are in line and on the same plane. Snap rings are desingned to keep parts from fallin
g off of the shaft, they are not designed to take the pressure of mis-aligned sprockets...ARH

When I changed to the 47 tooth flat sprocket (the stock TT250 sprocket is slightly dished), that's exactly why I opted and use the c-clip instead of the little spacers without the C-clip.

It's only about a 5+mm offset and with that long of a chain, I saw no harm/no foul, especially since the countershaft sprocket wiggles like crazy on the CG motor. Even if that minor of an offset wears out a chain 6 months sooner than normal, I felt much safer using the C-clip since Mrs. 2LZ is the one riding it.

I figure since this is relevant to the topic. While going over my new Hawk with a fine toothed comb I made a discovery with the rear sprocket. http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=19265
