tcs, LMAO. I think you're gettin it. I think I've decided to leave all the decals on the bike now. One should not be ashamed of their China ride. What was even better was the sticker on the back of the seat that says "Warning: Never ride with a passenger." The irony is that they put this sticker on the passenger seat, right above the passenger foot pegs. 8O

To be honest, I'm not positive. The engine code has been used for both 150cc and 200cc at different times by Hensim. And to make it more confusing the bike was manufactured in late 2006. The only year I've seen where the code was used for both at the same time. I'll try to get a displacement test done soon, but if it's a 150, it's the strongest 150 I've seen. It's got a bit of pep and with a few mods, it'll make a great commuter.

Right on. I bought my Chinese bike to make me happy not "them".

I have had a passenger. My girl wieghs 90-95#s and I am 175#s. I had no problems, but a couple of weeks ago I gave a "healthy" girl a ride around the block and the little 200 was not happy.

Holy crap. Glad I don't plan to have any passengers on this thing. I weigh the same as you and your girl put together.

Qingdao, stupid question but where is the VIN plate located on your bike? I've looked all over the Hensim and can't seem to find it. I'm probably missing something really obvious. I emailed VBike but haven't gotten a response yet.

Under the front fairings on the frame. The center fork shaft runs through that part of the frame. There should be a plate.

Thanks man, I appreciate the reply and the pic. That's a rather odd place I would think. No wonder I'm having problems finding it.

I haven't verified it, but there is a # stamped on the engine where you change the oil. Its fml163...it might just be the engine code. (mine is an FML163 lifan 200cc motor)

FYI: If you bump up to a bigger bike, on the frame is where all bikes in america have there vin stamped.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. check your vin # for the engine size if you are curious as to if it is a 200 or a 150.

For instance: GS1000123280

Notice the "GS1000" in the sequence. (not important but you can also finde the date of manufacture and the manufacture name in the VIN)

My VIN starts with LB200... If I remember correctly.

I found the VIN today. Just like I thought, I missed the obvious. I'm now 99.8% sure it's a 150cc. Although it has plenty of power for a 150. I'm not disappointed at all in the bike. I can't get it inspected and tagged until I get paid on Thursday. I'm a bit short on funds. I have been riding daily after work though right around here local. I have about 45 miles on it now, most of it in 4th gear or lower. After I get it street legal I'll start looking for carb jets and a filter for it. With my size I think I should stay with the stock 38T sprocket.

Maybe I missed this: OHC or OHV? And how do they do the dual exhaust: split header, dual port head or dummy pipe?

Thanx,
tcs

tcs, you didn't miss it. Good questions. It is OHC and the dual exhausts are the real deal. The head has dual exhaust ports. Feel free to toss out any questions you can come up with. I've been tweaking on this thing every day since I got it, and I'm learning a ton of cool stuff about bikes.
