Use this.
All you'll need is a big boom attached to your truck so once you hoist the bike up just swing it over the truck bed.
It will hold the bike upright safely until you get the tiedowns on and secure.

Dang! I was all ready to go out and buy a motorcycle jack that I would trip over when not in use. Think I'll weld up a couple of pieces of sqaure tubing, add some lifting points, and use it on my big gantry crane. Wont have those pesky fasteners try hide under a jack or stand when I drop them.
Thanks for the

That'll work @ home and I guess as long as you're only planning to take the bike for a ride in the back of your truck, it's all good. OR, do you set one up @ your local riding area also :?:  :?:  Could set the same thing up with an A-frame and a winch. Build an A-frame that fits in the stake pockets of the truck & mount a winch to a drawbar on your trailer hitch and away you go :!: I've seen all sorts of goofy stuff :!:

That would also work with someone that had limited space in the garage/shop. You could park the truck and bike in the same spot. (Just dont forget to let the tailgate down first )
