I remember when I was a kid, my Dirt Bike and MX Action mags would have TT racing articles in them. LONG ago. I had no idea it was still alive and well.

That all black TT250 looks great, CSC Dude. I may have to go a little overboard on the white one I have coming......

Thumbs Up

I remember riding out to the Isle of Man TT waaaay back in the late 70's to see maybe the greatest motorcycle racer of all time come out of an 11 year retirement to win the TT. Scared the chit out of me to just watch! and they were only going somewhere around 150 - 170 plus back then if i remember right. Here's the kicker, Mike Hailwood was riding a Ducati 900SS full race version of the same motor the factory had once built for me, 4 years before

That being said, I am probably going to have my fork uppers powder coated black. My TT250 will be black, at least for a little while. I've played around a bit in Photoshop to see what a mostly black TT would look like, and I like it...

Black bikes are usually the fastest ones (after orange, of course, but orange isn't an option on the TT). Having said that, though, I'm going to spend the $0.37 it will take to buy a spare set of bodywork and have it painted so my bike will match my watch...

You might think I'm kidding about the colors and the custom paint, but I am not. I was kidding about the $0.37 for the body work, so don't call the plant and ask for that price. It's actually a little more.

I like the sky blue and orange color combo you'll have to keep us updated if you end up doing that!

IMO the lighter gold production forks color looks so much better with the Black TT250, I hope it looks great with the white and copper as well.

Any chance of getting a picture of each color of the final production bikes to whet our appetites?

Seems like we (ha, you) have been waiting forever, what's the latest? Still first week in may? All the new bike delivers are like birthdays and these waiting days are getting old.

lol !
you're not kidding bout the anticipation! I even went out to the garages and moved the other bikes around to create a dedicated parking space for the TT, I'm laughing my ass off as this thing costs what? bout twice of what my dealer wants to charges me for a new set of tyres and a few "dealer services/oil changes" for one of my "big" bikes.! Reminds me of dating sometimes the least expensive dates turn out to be the most fun
(oh, and in case you wondered, I still service my big bikes myself too: when i,m putting MY azz on the line, I want to know how the work was done.)

Not a big deal. I'm a patient guy. Besides, I just had to give my first born male child, my entire harem, plus left testicle to Uncle Sam and Uncle Jerry about a week ago. Having a little time to allow my checkbook to stop hemorrhaging will be nice. ;-)

Shipped. Volcano to So Cal is about 8 hours hauling tail.
Believe me, I-5 is like the moon, smothered with Highway Patrol and driving in So Cal is not fun in the least. If you like 6 lanes of stopped traffic, it's a blast! ;-)

The CSC TT250 has a frame-mounted helmet lock. Do the Hawk bikes have a helmet lock?

I'm sure much of your attitude comes from the " been there done that " too. Sort of like george west to dallas, through the central texas corridor including that transportation marvel Austin texas ... what the hell was i thinking! Haha Thanks
