I haven't ever checked mph by GPS, so I can't answer your question. My speedo is kph only. When I press the button, the trip resets, doesn't switch to mph. And my eyes aren't good enough to read it while riding anyway! I just pace traffic and keep the speed low enough to be ignored by State Troopers and other law enforcement with radar/laser devices

So FYI, and for anyone else reading this: The gauge cluster unit on the Templar X looks superficially identical to the one on my RXB250L. I will bet you a nickel it is the same unit and works the same way. (You can also buy them on Amazon for a few bucks, if you feel like retrofitting one to a different bike.) To switch between MPH and KPH: Press the button until the main odometer is displayed. (I.e. total mileage, not the trip counter.) Then, press and hold the button. It will flip-flop between KPH and MPH until you let go. Just let go when it's on the one you want. Also, to switch wheel sizes: In case anyone cares. Press and hold the button at power on, before it "boots" completely. Each press of the button will toggle between 21, 17, and 15" settings. The setting is stored after you don't press the button again for a couple of seconds. |

Warranty engine is arriving Friday. Got a nibbi pe30 to try while putting in the new engine. 1300 ft elevation, any suggestions on initial setup of carb?

Something started pinging in the transmission and PSM just sent me a new one. I’m going to tear the old one apart and see what happened, it still runs and shifts fine, just something came loose and is pinging in the transmission.

TemplarX looks like dirt only. Psportsmax lists it at 14 hp. I,ll stick with my street legal x-pect also rated @14hp.
