I couldn't let you guys down. Besides there was no way I wasn't going to not take at lease one ride. I'm hoping I can get out the house long enough to shoot a quick walk around video today. It's killing me not being able to take her for a long ride.

Sorry to hear about your case of the shingles, JerryHawk. Its a painful and unpredictable condition.
-One fella that worked with me developed shingles right after receiving a bee sting. I dont think he has had another shingles breakout since then, about 7 years ago.
-I do not remember if I had chicken pox as a kid, so I don't know if I should get the shingles shot. My parents have both passed and my sister does not remember if I had chicken pox.

Yes it's very painful. Getting this bike seems to take my mind off of it though. I would check with your doctor. I know not everyone can take the vaccine.

I did get my windshield installed early this morning while it was nice and cool and cloudy. I was going to make a walk around video but I had no voice. I'll try late this afternoon if it cool. I did take a bunch of pictures but can't figure out how to reduce the size on my phone so I can post them. I hurts so bad the other day that I left my laptop at work.

Normally I think windshields tacked on a bike look pretty crappy to me ,and your bike looked nice enough I figured a window was going to ruin it .I was completely wrong ! Your bike still looks great even with the windshield on it .Is that bike full size or is it smaller ?looks like the proportions are right but without somebody on it it’s hard to size it up .

Lol. Yeah I wasn't sure how it was going to look. I think the smaller narrow smoked windshield looks like the perfect fit. Everything else I knew wouldn't of looked as good. I'm 5'10" with a 32 inch inseam and is perfect for me. It does have a low seat height just like my X22R. If you watched the video with me on it you will see it's not a small bike. It's about the same size as my X22R. I do plan on taking a picture of all three bike side by side for reference. This bike would be good up to a 6' maybe 6'2. I just came in from shooting a walk around video so I'll be posing that soon.

I am still living off grid in my camp ,so I have 1/2 of 3G internet from my phone ,no chance at watching your video ,a picture sometimes takes a few minutes to load lol .

Please take no offense but I think this bike looks way better without a windshield. I think it just wrecks the lines of a pretty good looking motorcycle. I get why people put them on but it’s really not a highway or long range bike.

Oh, I agree it looks better with out a windshield but the reason for the windshield is because I'll be using it as a winter commuter. I also agree with Bruce. The windshield does look better than I thought it would. Believe me I looked at a lot of windshields before I found this one. It's removable with two bolts so it will come off in warm or hot weather.

I caught the chicken pox at the ripe 'ol age of 18. I recently asked my doctor about the vaccine, and from what I recall, he told me that there is a few year window, maybe 5 years, and it is a one-time thing. In other words, if I got the vaccine now, it would cover me for 5 years until I am 56, then I am open to get shingles once again with no more vaccines. Hopefully someone can clarify and/or correct me.

Not bad at all. And the function over form of the windshield is acceptable. lol. That thing sound really nice with the stock exhaust also. If I wasn't about to start pumping funds into the other two project bikes, I'd look into that. lol.

Hope you're feeling better today. I think I have another 20 years before I have to worry about the shingles.
