All you fellas have gotta do is ask me.
![]() I pop into Saga on a semi-regular basis, and I'll be happy to check for rad hoses for the XY. Anything else?

That is a fine looking steed, Doc!
![]() One of the reasons I like them also. In non-riding or foul weather times, you can always make it better somehow by tinkering.....and they most definitely need to be run....and it seems they do have a dendency to 'self-heal' with miles. That tach/speedo setup is like the Q, as Andrew pointed out. My odometer reads in Km's. I'm sure that one does also? So far, that looks like a very fun unit! Tha gas mileage though....ouch! Maybe the carb is just set up to rich? Check the plug yet? Maybe the enricher is hanging up?

The speedo and odometer are in MPH! Go figure!
In fairness the poor mileage was at nearly full throttle 70 MPH into a decent headwind. Around town and on the trail it seems to get closer to 50.

Eyeballing the hoses I bet an off the shelf hose can m=be manipulated to fit without kinks. I'd try first, and if it kinks the copper elbows sound like a fine idea, if theyt are made in a size that works.
Oh the challenge of CB ownership! I love it!

well weld, please check on a bottom rad. hose i'm sure the cost to buy and then ship to PA would probably make it a bad idea tho.

In medical terms that hose does look pre-terminal. I checked mine it seems fine, for now, but it also looks like a regular properly sized hearter hose would work.

![]() ![]() For all these reasons, one should do diligent research before buying any Chinese motorcycle.
