I contacted them, even if they don't reply being out $70 isnt that terrible. I've been considering a 190cc swap but I'm building a house right now so I'd much rather try to repair the motor that I have rather than spend another $1k. I used to commute 80 miles a day on my clone, it was a lot of fun. I have a bigger bike now, but I miss being nimble. Thanks for your input! |

Hey China, 402 Innovations the original sponsor for Fooligan has their Ohlins copy rear shock on sale for $139 right now , with free shipping!
I couldnt find even a Thailand or Chinese knockoff on Ebay for that cheap so I went ahead and ordered one ,it shipped out to me today. Since my Vader that" shipped" the 16th is still actually sitting on the dock in Cali today the 24th , 8 days later per the Carrier, I guess I will jam it in me backside and run around the yard to test it when it gets here.

I almost bought that first one you listed but i couldn't get the Seller on EBay to tell me if it has adjustable preload or not ,if it does I would try it for sure .I'm not real heavy but the Grom and clones dont have enough suspension travel to be giving away an inch or two when you sit on it if the preload is too soft .The second one is too sweet but it is also 2x the money ,still cheaper than a 500 dollar Ohlins tho.I just couldnt see me putting a 500 dollar shock on a 1,000 dollar bike ,I just want better suspension i aint plannin on runnin any road races lmao !

Looking sweeeet. I was thinking last night what else I can do to mine. I think I'm good for awhile. At 170 miles mine seems like it's running good and I'm having a blast on it.

I'm not sure what going on with mine now, might anyone know?
The bike is hesitating/jerking at full/open throttle at the end of any gear. Maybe to lean or rich. The only thing i did was reroute the throttle cable. I tried putting 115 jet in but still same issue. any help. Solved i think, spark plug wasn't seated. Last edited by Chinabike; 07-26-2018 at 02:55 AM. |

Sticking in this thread even though it may be irrelevant. I got my new head today and almost completed installing it. The only problem I encountered was at the very end. I couldnt get the final plate around the four bolts. I knew if I tried to force it on I would strip them. I tried using my old plate but that no longer fit either. Think I should bore out the holes?

I cant wrap my head around why it doesnt want to fit on there. If the head slid on the cam cover should as well. I'm thinking about boring out the holes in my old cover and seeing if I can get that on there. |
