Yes and it wouldn't really be a cheap project either... It would be cool though, but your plan is probably a better one... It's a heck of a deal for $25... Weldangrind, we should find a local "mower pile" so we can find deals like this...

Yesterday it was the mud pile. The ranger looks like I been wheelin.
Took in six old car batteries for (248lbs) $29 and 460 pounds of scrap metal. $46. 700lbs on the ranger. Not a bad load.

Trying to ID the bultaco.
Looks like it may be a lobito model from the late sixties. http://cemoto.tripod.com/guide_photos/032_g.jpg Will need to find all the numbers from the bike I can to get a good idea of what I drug home. Bike is pretty light. I picked it up and put it in the truck.

My neighbor gives me all his scrap metal from his garage door business. He had all these batteries too. Help him clean up. Better that is gets recycled and I get some money than a going to the landfill.

Looks like this is the model. 66-70 Lobito 100.
http://tiddlerosis.blogspot.com/2010...co-lobito.html I found what is left of the shift shift sticking out. Somebody put it on the wrong side. May try to fire it up this week. Kick over and feels like a little compression is there.

I was thinking when I listed it that no one would want this rusty old skidplate. Only listed it because of free listing.
Going to have to strip the rest of the bike down now. Looks like I will have some money for a new phone now. My blackberry is feeling blue.

That is another tank of gas for the ranger.
Sold one of my tractors today too for a profit. Didn't really want to, but time for them is not there and it had been sitting in pieces for two years.
