Anyone know where to get a leaner pilot mixture screw for the stock carb. I filed a slot in the screw and checked where it was positioned. Removed it, cleaned the sealant out of the threads and seated it. Turned out 3/4. Was at 1. While monitoring a tach, it continued to idle normal with it fully seated, no increase in rpm's. Explains why it never needs choke.

The idle mixture screw is standard and does not need to be replaced. When the symptoms are as you indicate the proper response is to use a leaner idle jet.

Thanks for the clarification. I forgot there was a idle jet stamped 38 in between the main and the mixture screw. Makes sense now.
