We had some fun Christmas day activities ourselves. Verla and I got to spend some time together, and Monte and I flew to Leavenworth Washington to take in the Christmas decorations. All in all, a beautiful day.

Sorry that I don't have a cool car in the driveway. The guy from down the street with a huge snow blower helped to clean the driveway tonight and we still needed shovels. Only one lane is open on the through street in front of my house We only got about 12 inches of snow this time but the drifts with the crazy wind...

I was thinking about putting a Monster Truck 4x4 RC Track sign in the front yard but with the way things are in the US right now I decided not to...

It's been dang cold here (20's) but at 3000', we've been lucky enough not to have the snow, so far. It's only about 10 minutes up the road but nothing on the ground so far here in Volcano. Finger's crossed. I love the white stuff on the weekends but not during the work week.

That's a lot of snow, Hertz.

What do you do to keep yourself busy when it's like that? Skiing? Snowshoeing? Drinking? LOL

With a storm on Christmas day and the day after what do you think I was doing? You have to stock up on "supplies" because everything is closed on the 25th... Molly has a problem, the yard is gone.

She can walk backwards up the stairs so backing up the dump truck was not a problem. You can see that she has skills with perfect drop in the side of the snow bank. This is from 12 hours before that. I had to shovel constantly to keep the back door open and it is from the same part of the driveway and she had less space to back up.

I have the internet and those red warnings on the TV are pretty accurate.

I named it "Canadian-Colorado Rocky Mountain High". "Alberta" is the short name.

It's crazy. My buddy is in NJ which typically has lousy winters. It's been mostly in the 50s there. Rainy is all.

It was warm enough today to make a little sweat while working so it's not as bad as it cold be, but still cold overall. By 3pm it was too chilly to be outside without a jacket unless working, sub 70 and a bit overcast. Still waiting for the global warming to kick in, another empty promise from our gubment.
