Nice looking bike! I recommend that you start a new thread on it. Please show us a pic of the brake pedal and footpeg from just a little further back; it's tough to get perspective close up.

I meant a general thread on your bike, since this one was started by Wilsoncat.

We can follow your progress there.

I don't mind...it's good to have a thread for your own as well but it's helpful to other new owners if the information that is needed is in one place too.

As for the foot peg...mine seems too close to the break lever. I'll take a pic.

I think it's just shitty welding job. The other side is fine though.

As for the plastics, they are connected just fine.

I think that line is wrong. I recommend that you remove the brake pedal, heat it a little and bend it. Try to get the tread portion of the pedal to line up with the inside of the footpeg, if that makes any sense. Put another way, place a straight edge along the inside edge of the footpeg, and bend the brake pedal until it is in line.

Stupid me never even thought it could be that the break pedal was bent. Gotta talk to a friend to see if he can assist. Thanks!

I agree with Weld. I think the brake pedal is messed up, from the factory. You need to remove the brake pedal, put it in a vise, and bend it to the correct angle, as shown in the edited photograph I posted below.

For example, here is a photograph of the brake pedal on my Zongshen 200GY-2.

hey wilsoncat, i saw you got your bike titled no problem. can i ask what parts you had filled out from wade on it? i need to tell him what i need done to register mine. mine is completely blank, nothing from excalibur written on it, because i didn't know what to have him fill in.

and thanks to culcune for calling me and trying to help me solve the riddle!! i got a few different stories as to what info i need, from dmv. i think culcune and i came up with a good i idea - and thats to go to the hobby shop here in town and ask them what info they put on their mso's…

what i did yesterday, when i couldn't register it, is grab a title/registration form and filled it out and made copies. now i can say i sent in the form in the mail if i get pulled over, and its good for up to 8 weeks (when plates should have arrived). i also got insurance on it ($89 for the year - that about average?), so I'm all legal, cuz I'm sure ill get pulled over since its a small town and they get bored. probably even get back up and a k-9 unit.

culcune, was going to ask you on phone, do you have check points in your area?? us citizen checkpoints i mean.
