Bike Transportation?

Does anybody know of an inexpensive way to transport a glorified minibike from Fredericksburg to Radford within the next week?

Please let us know how it turns out.

Thanks, I'll check them out!
I'm checking enterprise right now. Someone said that you can get a full size pickup (8ft) for the weekend for $100 w/unlimited miles. Uhaul is way too high when you add in the miles.

Enterprise also rents cargo vans.

A bike will fit into any pickup. Just put the tailgate down. I haul them in a shortbed ranger all the time.

tdkrantz, as a point of trivia, I have a class III receiver on my Caravan, and I haul dirt bikes on a bike hauler regularly. The van is nice and low, so it's easy to roll the wheels up on the carrier and tie it down.

Most class III receivers will support 300lbs of dead weight.

I have put them on the back of the minivan also. It works, but I don't like the feel of that weight back there. The rear suspension feels to soft.

Maybe if I had the load leveling suspension.
